I am not looking for a club, they are looking for me – Mourinho

Jose Mourinho has claimed he does not know where he will be coaching next and hinted he was hot in demand among clubs.The Portuguese was sacked as Chelsea manager last December and has been without a job ever since.
Mourinho has been heavily tipped to replace Louis van Gaal at Manchester United after this season ends, but he remains coy on his next destination.
“My next club? I really don’t know,” he said.
“One thing is certain; I love football and I will return on the fields with the same passion and ambition as always.

Oil Price inches to $35 after Iran welcomes output freeze

Oil price yesterday rose towards $35 a barrel and an industry report showed a surprise drop in the United States (US) inventories after Iran welcomed plans by Russia and Saudi Arabia to freeze output.
The gain added more than 7 per cent surge in the previous session which came even though analysts said that the market had overreacted to Iran’s support for the caps and the Russian-Saudi move would not likely reduce the global surplus.
Brent (LCOc1) rose 38 cents to $34.88 a barrel, having closed 7.2 per cent higher in the previous session, while the US crude (CLc1) gained 69 cents to $31.35.
“It’s a continuation of yesterday’s (Wednesday) move. What we see still is extreme volatility. I would not be surprised to see prices retreating again by a big margin in the coming days,” an analyst at Commerzbank, Carsten Fritsch, said.” Read more after the cut..

Court grants order to seize Tompolo’s properties

The Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has granted an order for the seizure of some properties belonging to former Niger Delta militant, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo.
Justice Ibrahim Buba granted the order after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) told the court that the whereabouts of Tompolo is unknown. Read more after the cut.

Obafemi Martins promises more goals in China club

Obafemi Martins has scored goals on his football travels and he said he will do same in China.
Martins has played in Italy, England, Germany, Russia, Spain and lately the United States of America.
He has now finalised his transfer to Chinese club Shanghai Greenland Shenhua and he said is looking forward to score goals for his new team.
The Chinese Super League side finished sixth last year.
Shenhua made an official announcement Wednesday that they have signed ‘Obagoal’ on a one-year contract with option of another year for Seattle Sounders. Read more after the cut.
